Say what you want.
Be found for exactly that.
Most networks connect you to whoever happens to be nearby. Intendin asks every member one question — what are you here to do? — and makes the answer searchable. Need a staff engineer, a seed investor, a co-founder, a mentor? Find the people who are open to it right now, and write to them directly.

One line, sixty days, up to four at a time. Hiring, raising, learning — the same eight kinds for everyone, so nothing is vague.
Filter a million profiles down to the handful of people actually open to what you need this quarter.
Reach out about a specific intention. If they reply you have a conversation. If they ignore you, the sender is refunded.
Intentions, search and discovery cost members nothing. A first message to a stranger costs whatever they charge for their inbox — and your connections message you free, permanently.
Eight intentions, 822.5K answers
Every profile answers the same question the same way, which is what makes the network searchable. Pick the one you care about and see who is open to it — right now, not last year.
Engineers, designers, operators — whoever you need next.
Say what you want next instead of hoping someone asks.
A live round, with the stage and the size stated up front.
Tell founders what you back and they stop guessing.
The highest-stakes search there is. Be specific.
Lend experience on a schedule you choose.
Ask for a mentor, a review, or fifteen minutes of expertise.
Research, side projects, writing, open source.
Intentions posted in the last few days
People are findable for what they want, not for what a résumé implies. If one of these is yours to answer, answer it.

The whole product fits on a napkin
- 1You post an intention
One line about what you want next, up to four at a time: a role, a round, a co-founder, a mentor, a collaborator. Each carries an expiry date, so the network never fills up with questions nobody is asking any more.
- 2Search stops guessing
Filter the directory by intention and you are looking at people who asked to be found for exactly that. No cold guessing from job titles, no waiting for a signal that never comes.
- 3Your connections are free forever
Anyone you have accepted messages you free, and you message them free. Strangers pay the price you set for your inbox — and that price is the entire spam filter.
- 4Silence costs nobody
Answer, or decline with a reason, inside 48 hours and you keep what was paid. Ignore it and the sender is refunded in full — we earn nothing from a message that was never read.
State what you want, be findable for it, and let the people who need exactly that reach you — while everyone already in your corner keeps getting through for free.
Ordered by profile strength — employers, title, tenure, city and verified history. Reputation you cannot buy.

- Ranking is earned from evidence, never bought with reach or credits.
- Intentions show newest first — no boosts, no promoted placement.
- There is no feed. The directory, your inbox and the ledger are the whole product.
- The only thing money buys here is someone else's attention, at the price they set.
Why one profile is worth more than another
Strength is a single number between 1 and 100, built from seven components. It orders discovery and suggests a starting inbox price when you join — nothing else. It is not a gate: a low score never hides you.
The biggest lever. Prestige of the strongest employer, plus a bonus for breadth across several recognised firms. Unknown employers score a solid default — never zero.
Founder, VP, director, staff and senior titles survive a cold skim. Students and interns rank as early career rather than as professionals.
Time in your longest role is evidence of delivery. City affinity concentrates demand where it actually exists instead of pretending it is evenly spread.
Verified identity, log-scaled connection mass, and a 90-day responsiveness record — the component you control every day, and the one people check before writing.
A network organised around intent, not content
| The incumbent | Intendin | |
|---|---|---|
| Finding someone specific | Search a job title and hope | Search what people say they are open to now |
| A stranger messages you | The platform is paid, you get the noise | They pay for your attention, at your price |
| You never reply | Nothing happens, ever | Sender refunded in full, no commission taken |
| Your profile | Their inventory, sold by the seat | Your page — public, connection-only, or priced |
| Being found | Buy reach and credits | Earn strength through evidence |
| Content | Broetry and outrage for dwell time | No feed. Directory, inbox, ledger |
Joining, searching and being found are free
Members are never charged to exist here: no listing fee, no subscription, no pay-to-be-seen. Money only appears when somebody decides a stranger's time is worth buying — and then it is the member who gets paid, with 25% taken from the flow by us.
The same reason they pay today: they need your time and cannot manufacture it. Companies already buy inmail credits and recruiter seats — Intendin simply routes that money to the person being interrupted.
No. Set zero and your inbox behaves like an ordinary network. Members also keep every one of their existing connections free, permanently.
The sender is refunded automatically, nobody is charged, and your responsiveness score takes the hit. Keeping the reply window honest is the whole point.
Yes — and this is the part we care most about. Ranked discovery is earned through profile evidence and a clear intention, never bought.
Import your verified connections when you join. The public number only ever grows — 1,376,394,009 today, including every accepted invite across the network. None of them ever pay to reach you.
Be findable for what you actually want.
Post one intention and the right stranger stops being a stranger. The people who already know you keep getting through free — everyone else has to earn the interruption.
Handle availability is live — if what you want is taken we propose the closest alternatives instantly.
- Write a specific intention: role, city, timing. Vague asks attract vague replies.
- Write one about yourself too — mentors and investors read both.
- Let it expire. Re-posting after sixty days puts you back at the top of the board.
